Dear TLDSB parents/guardians,
We are looking forward to providing transportation next school year. Each year, we see many students being driven to school rather than taking the transportation provided for eligible students. As we plan routes for the upcoming school year, Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) Transportation Services Department is asking eligible families to let the Board know if your child(ren) will not be accessing transportation for the 2025-2026 school year by completing a form.
Parents/guardians are asked to fill out the Parent/guardians Portal Opt-out Form once per child. If your child(ren) is eligible and will be using transportation, there is no action required.
Please note, the opt-out form applies to home address transportation only.
The deadline to opt-out for 2025-2026 transportation is Friday, July 4.
Follow the steps below to opt-out of transportation:
- Go to www.mybustoschool.ca
- Click on the Parent Portal
If you have a parent account:
- Sign in and select “Online Forms & Requests” at the bottom of the page
- Click on the Opt-In/Opt-Out Request Form: 2025-2026
- Complete and submit the form once per child
If you do not yet have a parent account:
- Click “Create Account”
- Add your child(ren)
- Select “Online Forms & Requests” at the bottom of the page
- Click on the Opt-In/Opt-Out Request Form: 2025-2026
- Complete and submit the form once per child
If your circumstances change, leaving you needing transportation, complete the form again choosing the opt-in drop down. Please be advised, at the discretion of TLDSB Transportation Services Department, students may not be added back until designated points in the school year calendar (example in January or following March Break) if the student is eligible for transportation.
Troubleshooting: If you do not have access to the internet, or are having trouble accessing the opt-out request form, please reach out to your child’s school for assistance.
